Blinds and Shades

There are a few major types of blinds and shades depending on what you are trying to accomplish in your office or home.

Venetian blinds: These are the most popular and versatile type of blinds, made of horizontal slats that can be tilted to control light and privacy.

Vertical blinds: Commonly used for large windows or sliding glass doors, these blinds have vertical slats that can be rotated or pulled to the side for easy access.

Roller shades: These shades consist of a single piece of fabric that can be rolled up or down to control light and privacy.

Roman shades: These shades have soft, horizontal folds that create an elegant and tailored look when raised, and provide complete privacy when lowered.

Cellular shades: Also known as honeycomb shades, these shades feature cells that trap air, providing insulation and energy efficiency.

Solar shades: These are made from a specialized fabric that has a tight weave, which helps to block harmful UV rays and minimize glare. They are often used in homes and offices to create a more comfortable and energy-efficient environment.

Pleated shades: Pleated shades are a type of window covering that consist of a single piece of fabric that is folded into a pleated pattern. These shades are designed to be versatile and functional, offering both privacy and light control options.

Curtains and Drapes

Grommet curtains: These curtains have metal rings that are attached to the top of the fabric, allowing them to easily slide onto a curtain rod.

Rod pocket curtains: These curtains have a pocket at the top where a curtain rod can be inserted, creating a gathered look.

Tab top curtains: These curtains have fabric loops or tabs sewn onto the top, through which a curtain rod can be threaded.

Valance curtains: These curtains are typically shorter in length and are used as decorative pieces to cover the top portion of a window, allowing light to still enter the room.
